There are two sides to this topic. I will cover the first side as being the good side of things. There are songs that are set up as a "left me up". I had for a time a song called stand my ground on my phone. It had a massage with it that helped me keep my mind set on goals I had to work on at the time. I was struggling with overly controling people in my life at that time, and it draw on the week side of me. I stuggle with people pleasing to a point now, but a few years ago it was controling me. I have one the arm match though...
!!! but I needed songs like this one....that was inspiring! Find that song for yourself.
Now for the bed side. Most of us knows that the bad side of music is connected with spiritually evil stuff. Demons, and spirits! Artists praying to gods to bless and or possess the peace them do. I can list lots and lots of prof of this. In turn, many feel their moods change from it, like drugs do when you take it, some music for some can be just as strong for them as taking a drug. So we need to be careful what we exspose ourselves to. So cut all music that isnt christian out, some feel claim it is even in christian music...I say for the most part...not so!!! We need to be smart about this. Like when an artist claims they are like "possessed" from something that isnt them when the preform their song, I would say most likely them are. There are those that come right out and say it and those that feel they hide it well. The thing is, take time, when you hear a song that isnt lefting Jesus up, look at the words, and them pray and see what you feel. It is isnt lefting you up, get raid of it!
:sick0019: love this pic...perfact, hu!?

However be careful! From Personal experience I know that this is also in Christian music. It's to do with a clash of ideology, music carries it's own philosophy, and even the music can create an open door to the demons. The words are great, but it;s not always easy to judge just by the words as to whether it;s uplifting or not. Twice now, I've had Cd's which I've had to get rid of which were 'Christian/Hymns' because they were bringing the demons into my home. It tends to be predominantly in 'christian' rock, but it is in other Christian music as well. The safest thing is to pray about your music and ask God to reveal to you which music does honour Him. Please be careful.
