My question with all of this is if that be the case how come God's given calendar is a lunar calendar not a solar one, and why also would GOd construct his tabernacle in such a way that everything faced west and away from the sun rather than toward it?
I think I understand your reasoning, but these things do not fit with your reasoning.

They concern Satan's time at the end of days. The same span of time, when referencing God's children, is given in days, the light....

I dunno.
If you're referencing the following verse it tells us those men were worshipping the wrong way. The east is where wickedness comes from.
- Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
They worshipped the wrong one...the fake from the east.
