Okay, Moses is a great example of what happens when we don't pay attention to what is in our own hearts and what it is like to be blind to ourselves and what we are believing and thinking...
The people are a great example too!
But let's clump everyone into 'the people' <include Moses and Aaron and everybody
At what point does any stop and consider what they ALL received by hearing and weigh it with what their heart is telling them?
Did they already know "thou shall not murder"
What grounds would any have to stand on to say....
"Moses I can't do what
you are asking me to do, because I just promised God I wouldn't"
2Cr 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.Jer 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Who is the house of Israel?
