All very good points that I had never truly contemplated before, this great difference that is so subtle, yet so significantly distinct from one another.  Amazing how this is so easily overlooked.  Definitely, peacemaking appears to be more of a "process" whereas peacekeeping infers maintaining a status quo that may go awry... there was "peacekeeping" in the nation of Nazi Germany, or today in North Korea, a "peacekeeping by force".  Also, True Peace is rooted in the reciprocation to enmity (opposition to God) as Cizz so well pointed out, for True Peace is "cessations to all againstness to God".  True Peace is our selfless "surrender" to Him, the Most High.  Amen.
