Continued.....

Our example, given in the beginning for the end of days, is.....

Exodus 14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

  • All of the above are his army...the army is the power of Pharaoh who is symbolic of the antichrist, the ruler of Egypt and it's worldly temptations.  The horses, chariots and riders are his army and as this example shows....they pursued Israel until they crossed the Red Sea....and so shall they persue us until we too have crossed.

Deuteronomy 11:4  And what He did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how He made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

  • Destroyed can mean to be "given up, be lost, go astray, be destroyed under Divine judgment."  This wicked and tempting army of Pharaoh/Antichrist are still, "to this day" going astray and are under Divine judgment (destroyed).

Exodus 15:4-5  Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath He cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.  The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.

Isaiah 43:16-18 Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

  • They were then as they are now, "unto this day," drowned in the Red sea.  Meaning, today those in the sea are spiritually dead.  They are sunken into the abyss...covered by "the water of the Red sea," the same sea we must pass through in this flesh life.  To live eternally we must stay on the path He provides, the "narrow path in the mighty waters," or we too will be covered by the depths, pulled under by their deception, their temptation to return to Egypt and it's carnality.

That brings us to today....

Zechariah 10:10-11  And I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria;  and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon:  and place shall not be found for them.  And he {they}shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up:  and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.

  • He will bring us through the Red Sea...away from Egypt but He warns....

Deuteronomy 17:15-16 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

  • At present we have a "king" over us that is not "our brother" or "among thy brethren,"  but is a "stranger," a foreigner.  And...we voted him into office.  We set him over us.  Recently I saw a video of him, and I'm paraphrasing, in which he derided some of the laws given in the Old Testament as well as laughingly asking...."can you imagine our country being ruled by the sermon on the mount?"  Well...some of us wanted change and here he is.

    What is meant by "he shall not multiply horses?"  Causing people to spiritually "return to Egypt" and it's carnality is done in order to "multiply horses to himself."  It appears that the return of his subjects to wordly things must be accomplished in order to achieve his "multiplying horses."  Much more is being taught, I believe, than our Father being against a king owning literal horses.  King Solomon, who certainly wasn't the shining example of someone following God's commandments, accrued many....but, were they literal?

1 Kings 4:26  And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

  • Odd wording there.  Is it saying forty thousand horses or forty thousand stalls or forty thousand horses in the stalls?  Are the stalls for his horses or for his chariots?  (Bullinger writes that the number 40,000 should probably be 4,000 as shown in 11 Chron.9:25 but if that is true...he had many more horsemen than horses.)

    While watching a news program I was suddenly shown what multiplying horses is.  :D  Horses carry their riders, the horsemen, (leaders) and the horses (people) are needed to vote in order to keep their leader at the reins...riding their backs.  If our leaders cause people to "return to Egypt," by promising....your home, your food, your education, your health...will be paid for then those horses continue to be ridden by the horsemen...the bit stays in their mouths and they are under the horsemen's control with the bridle in their hands.  They keep voting them in because they're promised a nice fresh stall and lots of oats to eat. They need just over 50% of the horses under their control and...they're in power forever.  They are controlled through Politics, Finance, Education and Religion.  All designed to keep their horses attached to their chariots.

    The riders (horsemen) cause the people (horses) to trust in Egypt, not in the Lord and they are then horses that give their strength (votes) to keep those leaders/horsemen in power.  Our kings (part of the spiritual wickedness in high places) have been and are now....multiplying their horses!
