Although Paul writes....
Ephesians
6:12 (666) For we wrestle
not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.- ....we also face earthly battles for our enemies are led by those Paul warns us of. They are the horsemen/riders/leaders of the horses and their chariots that are filled with spiritual wickedness. We're given a clue on who the horses are that we physically battle against...
Jeremiah 51:27 Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations
against her, call together
against her the kingdoms of
Ararat,
Minni, and
Ashchenaz; appoint a captain
against her;
cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.
- Minni - Division; (a portion of Armenia,) Ararat - High, holy ground; (where Noah's ark came to rest in the Armenian highlands,) Ashchenaz - spreading fire; (can be associated with the German race.)
Are the "nations" that are prepared against "her" the "high holy ground, the spreading fire causing a division?" A division between "her," the her being Babylon the great ****, and God's Kingdom? Biblical names carry meanings...do they here? I wonder who the "captain" is that will be/has been appointed against her?
The rough caterpillers are "young locusts in the devouring stage - the cankerworm." They are the "horses" ridden by, guided by, horsemen filled with the spirit of the chariots of wickedness.
Joel 2:3-5 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The
appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the
noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble,
as a strong people set in battle array.
2:25 And I will restore to you the years that
the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you.- We see caterpillers/locusts and horses linked in several passages. The horses of Satan are the caterpillars/locusts/men and their riders, the horsemen, those guiding them, are Satan's forces....Kenites and fallen angels! Their appearance is like the horses, the locusts, the people...a strong people. But, some are supernatural....fallen angels.
Habakkuk 1:7-9 They are
terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. Their
horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and
their horsemen shall spread themselves, and
their horsemen shall come from far;
they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat. They shall
come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
- Their horses, their terrible and dreadful horses, are, I believe....Islam! Of course we have many horses of our own that are terrible and dreadful but they are a "nation from far."
Deuteronomy 28:49
The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift
as the eagle flieth; a nation whose
tongue thou shalt not understand;
Hosea 8:1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth.
He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed My covenant, and trespassed against My law.
- I go back to, "they shall come from far, they shall fly as the eagle," in the above verse; is this literal? Do they fly, did they fly planes into the towers? Do the horsemen, leaders, fallen angels, fly in whirlwinds? Remember, both sides have these whirlwinds.
Zechariah 12:3-5 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though
all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, saith the LORD,
I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon
the house of Judah, and
will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts
their God.
- Astonishment = bewilderment, terror. He will look with favour on Judah and all the horses of the people (the people of the earth, those gathered against Judah) He will blind. Jerusalem is the strength of Judah for we, Christians, are Jerusalem...we are His holy nation and are strong allies with our brother Judah even though they still term our Savior..."their God."
