Yes,  we have assignments by the Lord as his disciples to spread the gospel and such, but the Counselor is the sole source that brings us into the knowledge of the lord will and his ways and this is vital to our spiritual growth.  It can not be placed upon a man to teach us this, as only the spirit of the Lord can... agreed
