Jokshan = "snarer"


Okay from burning our first inward child we know

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation

Do we lay snares or not?   or does it mean we don't intentionally lay snares for others and we consider the snares laid out for us?  

Exd 10:7     And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

Exd 23:33     They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

Exd 34:12     Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

Jdg 2:3     Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be [as thorns] in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Job 18:8     For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

Psa 69:22     Let their table become a snare before them: and [that which should have been] for [their] welfare, [let it become] a trap.

Psa 91:3     Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence.

Psa 106:36     And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

Psa 124:7     Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
