Hello sister... most of the time we need to take the context of what is being said in the full sentence , the rider on the white horse and held a bow signifies war.   

The rider is sent out to conquer and that indeed he does.   the rider is the ancient Babylonians also called the Chaldeans who are in the Iraq Iran area and just like the Jewish people of Ancient Days, their decedents are alive and well and the ancient battle of Gen 16:12 between Ishmael and Jacob will continue until the Millennium is set up and the Lord removes that covenant of war between the two seeds.

the father said he was sending the tribulation through the seed of Ishmael  and they are camped around us now.  Trust the Lord in the times of trouble that is near to all of us.   The Lord is coming.
