Awesome revelation! Beautiful  Wish I was there to have seen it.

Anyway, that's why I gave up oils, I too made them muddy... I would keep noodling at them and didn't know when to stop and then suddenly I would realize...  :confused0068: YUCK! a102

I do miss the smell of turpentine, though. cz048  

In the end I switched to acrylics... they dry fast and there is no time for noodling the paint... and I employ a technique of translucent layers to create a rich affect and everyone thinks my fine art paintings are oils, but they aren't.  It fools them. Cz1111  LOL
