Oh goodness, we need to get our girls connected!!! The only other girls who know what my daughter is going thru, are her good friends who are missionary kids (2 sisters) who live with theri family in Africa....they minister to deaf people in a small village somewhere around Ghana....in comparison, they are REALLY isolated.
Thank you for posting on this...we really are feeling so strange. I'm sad to say that the kids that my kids were friends with (they were our neighbors in a small rural community) and they/we all attended the same church...but when the kids hit middle school they took a turn for the worse (sex, drugs, worldly things) that we did not allow...so needless to say we all went separate ways. They are all still in the church and youth group, we were ostrasized and run out because of our concerns with the "youth" dept. It was a very sad/strange thing to experience.
In His Love,
Suzanne
How sad! And the persecution seems to start so much eariler for them...for standing up for right instead of just "fitting in"!
