Itt's so easy to pidgeon hole people. I was working with a young girl a year ago, and the root cause was a brokenness! She came from a broken home and went through abuse as well. This had left her with a very broken view of men and God. Many there are out there in the world who are trpped in sexual sins for the exact same reason.  Both heterosexual and homosexual practices. It is very one sided to focus on just the homosexual, for in hos point the churches are in fact straning t a gnat (homosexual) yet th have no problem with the unmarried man sleeping with his girlfriend who when tired of her moves off to another girl. As one preacher put it, how are you any better than them? It's all sin and it's wrong. It's right to tell the homosexual that they are sinning, but please the heterosexual must also be told that he is sinning. It all stinks in the nostrils of heaven.

Suzanne that is the quandry. The kids. Case in point a six year old boy (reported in the news) will be leading a gay pride parade (I forget where). I have such a major problem with that , I can't even tell you. Or Rosie Odonnell a couple of years back chartered a Disney cruise ship for homosexuals with children. At a dinner on board that she was hosting she complemented the parents and said something to the efect that here's hoping that our kids grow up to be nice homosexuals. That's why I said we all have a political, clergy, and gay as parent beef. These are the three things that lead to a distraction to the greater issue, of how to help these people.

Totally agree, this is so much more pervasive than people realize especially with regard to kids and computers in their bedrooms.

Hey I am in agreement with all of you...but the problem is so great and growing we are helpless for the most part outside of protecting our children and those who show desire to live in Christ.

In school a young 3rd grade school girl went to the library and by accident took her book she was given to read home with her.  Her mom saw the book and opened it to read....shock and unbelief came forth.

The book was called the  "The King and Me" and was about it was okay to be  gay.   The mother took the book to school and addressed this issue and has taken her daughter out of school I believe.  It happen here in Texas. It was on the news I believe.

This society is taking our children and ingraining these things into their minds in grade school that they grow up confused.  We pulled our grandson out and home school him now.

How can one stop pron when it is all over our TV?  Victoria Secrets is about a prono as you can get.   They put people behind bars for selling it, but it is okay to show naked bodies on TV for new, for documentaries and for movies they make money off of.    I find a double standard in this land called America and it is crippling.

Pray for the Kingdom of God to come.  or Just say the Lord's prayer:   "thy Kingdom come, they will be done...

I really love your take on this subject matter... Well worded well thought out and an outstanding treatise in my opinion.

There is a stuntedness to homosexuals often a fixation on things and appearances, that betrays somesort of recessed maturity. I often wonder whether this is because they may have not developed out of the androgenous stage of development... although hormones play apart in children, they are somewhat androgenous till secondary sex ual traits. Hence more cuddley with the opposite sex parent as puberty ensues (generally) and more cuddly with both parents before.

But I think the greater point is to discern the individual before you as sex less first and human, and in goodwill (if it exists ) try to be honest .

It is through love and kindness , that traction will be made against the demons within...

I agree on all your points, as well.  A male's sexuality is galvanized at 16 years old.  If he cannot embrace the heterosexual identity because it was not affirmed in him by the father figure, then his sexual identity becomes stunted in adolescence with attributes of immaturity.   I personally know, 'cause as an ex-Gay I'm locked in the "Big Baby Hughie Stage".  Sometimes I talk like a baby (on purpose)---and I wonder to myself, 'Do other men do this, or is it just me?'

Also, homosexuals usually have a domineering mother and a "shadow" of a father, or a "weak" father, meaning not "engaging" with the son, particularly in the child's formative years, and thus the father figure appears absent from his life.

Gays are still people that can (and some will) be called out by Jesus.  Yes, it is true a practicing homosexual cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven without repentance in Christ, but the same applies to a heterosexual drunkard or a heterosexual S&M couple, all are lost and fall short of the glory of God.  All these poor souls trapped in bondage to their demons can have liberation, but only through the Power of Christ and it is our duty as Christians to extend that love and compassion to them so they may know Christ and the New Life he died for and offers to the world; we are His Ambassadors of Love.  If we don’t they will perish.

I agree in principle with what you're saying however asking for it to be banned is only like putting a band aid on a wound that needs stitches. Surely the answer lies not in banning, but in a change of mind and character?! As one who hws struggled on this point. I know that at my wordt it would not have made two hoots of difference on the legality of it or not. It was a change in my mind that came from Christ that made the difference. You see rather than saying let's ban it and make them criminals (which by Gods standards they are) rather we need to show them compassion and bring them to Christ. Only once you fully surrender to Christ and allow Him to change you does any of this lose it's luster.

Why did I get caught in the porno trap? Many reasons but the main one being that my whole life was one of pain and hurt and anguish, and it filled (wrongly) an emptiness that was in my life. Many who are similarly caught will also share that history. I am now totally ashamed of that behaviour, but it was only Christ who lifted me out. Bring the people to Christ and don't preach at them, but show them and enable them and empower them to experince God's goodness for themselves. No amount of legislation will accomplish such, but legislation will compound the condemnation that a person so hooked will already feel.

That is a powerful observation, Rose… outlawing vices society does to uphold standards for civility (yet has no understanding of the difference between what is unlawful [in God’s eyes] and was is illegal [in man’s eyes] – hence abortion is made legal though it is murder and is not “lawful” under God’s eyes), but we still have, say, murders, though it is wrong and illegal to kill someone out of the womb.  We know in Christ the vain images of pornographic idolatry are unlawful and we can make them illegal, but that censorship will actually work against all censorship and snowball into a monster where even the Bible will be made illegal for its literary imagery of violence, etc. 

The real strength and victory is when we can resist these tempting vices by Christ’s tangible and fundamental spiritual and overcoming change in us giving us the will and authority to resist and not be tempted at all; this is more powerful than banning the culprit which will only facilitate curiosity due to the taboo factor causing people to be lured into the snare.

Having come from the Gay lifestyle and living in a Gay friendly city with a Gay bar just mere steps away right across the street from my complex which I used to frequent 6 days a week and I was virtually a permanent fixture there; I’m glad to report that it doesn’t even phase me now and I haven’t been there in many years.  The desires simple do not exist, and yet the place is legal to be there and not banned.  So who has the REAL victory here?

But, what in the world happened that things changed in society that this type of bar is now acceptable...there was a time that it would not have been allowed in a neighborhood, people understood that this was destructive for a community.

Suzanne I fully believe that Society in general has turned their backs on God, so what was once known to be repulsive and unacceptable, is now being seen to be common place as it once was in countries such as Greece and Italy before Christianity cleaned things up. Many of our brightest lights have gone out, and countries that were Christian and once sent out the missionaries to the world, now sit in need of missionaries to them :(

Yes, society is simply ungodly now, so these things are flourishing and allowed to be part of it.  Look at what happened when prayer was taken out of the schools.  Now they are the most dangerous environments a parent could ever subject their child to, where sex is taught in classes, kids engaging in oral sex on the campus, STDs are on the rise, girls get pregnant, drugs are available, guns are brought to the schools, criminal gang activity and hostility can get students murdered in broad daylight, etc.

You are right about this generation of school children  being confused that same sex is okay.  This comes because of what they are taught in public schools that weaken their little minds of who God is  and what God wants from his children..many many parent place their children in P.S and  they go to work trusting in the system to teach them as this is enforced by our government.    Unless private or home school is acquired for them or the parents take the time to teach them the way they should go, they are left to society to teach them and lead them away from God.

I don't  know if these two who went to live with the 80 yrs old are sleeping together as one flesh, if that is the case then by no means should they be allowed to stay in that house....not even two  heterosexuals should be staying there if they are not married in union....God's law's are just that and we are not to pollute our abodes  with any kind of sexual immorality nor our bodies.  lol     


This has been around since the beginning of creation just as Lot lived in Sodom and Gomorrah,  which even the men there wanted to seduce the angels at Lot's, where full of sodomite's and the Lord came and burned that city with fire....that should speak loud and clear to the Homosexual what to expect if they don't come out of the world's folly which will bring death.
