http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia

Sharia (شريعة Šarīʿa; [ʃaˈriːʕa], "way" or "path") is the sacred law of Islam. All Muslims believe Sharia is God's law, but they have differences among themselves as to exactly what it entails.[1]  Modernists, traditionalists and fundamentalists all hold different views of Sharia, as do adherents to different schools of Islamic thought and scholarship. Different countries and cultures have varying interpretations of Sharia as well.

Muslims believe all Sharia is derived from two primary sources, the divine revelations set forth in the Qur'an, and the sayings and example set by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad in the Sunnah. Fiqh, or "jurisprudence," interprets and extends the application of Sharia to questions not directly addressed in the primary sources, by including secondary sources. These secondary sources usually include the consensus of the religious scholars embodied in ijma, and analogy from the Qur'an and Sunnah through qiyas. Shia jurists replace qiyas analogy with 'aql, or "reason". Where it enjoys official status, Sharia is applied by Islamic judges, or qadis. The imam has varying responsibilities depending on the interpretation of Sharia. While the term is commonly used to refer to the leader of communal prayers, the imam may also be a scholar, religious leader or political leader. Sharia deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexuality, hygiene, diet, prayer, and fasting.

Introduction (or reintroduction) of Sharia is a longstanding goal for Islamist movements in Muslim countries. Some Muslim minorities in Asia (e.g. India) have attained institutional recognition of Sharia to adjudicate their personal and community affairs. In Western countries, where Muslim immigration is more recent, Muslim minorities have introduced Sharia family law, for use in their own disputes, with varying degrees of success (e.g. Britain's Muslim Arbitration Tribunal). Attempts to impose Sharia have been accompanied by controversy,[2][3][4][5] violence,[6][7][8][9][10][11] and even warfare (cf. Second Sudanese Civil War) [12][13][14][15].

Obama Backing Mosque Defies Religious Freedom
by  James Zumwalt
08/19/2010

Excerpt: http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=38613

As the emotional debate over building the Ground Zero Mosque continues, President Obama announced his support for the Muslim initiative.

On August 13, at a White House dinner celebrating the Islamic month of Ramadan, he emphasized that “Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country… This is America and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country, and will not be treated differently by their government, is essential to who we are. The writ of our Founders must endure.”

In citing the need to preserve “the writ of our Founders,” Obama ignores history and a major concern about Islam cited by two of our Founding Fathers. He also fails to grasp the concept that religious tolerance does not mean embracing religious intolerance.

Two of our Founding Fathers—Thomas Jefferson and John Adams—serving as America’s ambassadors to France and Britain respectively—met in London with Tripoli’s ambassador to Britain in 1786. Their mission was to negotiate a peace treaty to end unprovoked attacks against American ships that were being launched by pirates from various Muslim countries along the Barbary Coast and their enslavement of captured American crewmen.

Jefferson and Adams queried the Tripoli ambassador as to why our ships were being attacked. His response sufficiently concerned the two Founding Fathers that they felt compelled to report what was said to the Continental Congress:

“That it was founded on the laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Muslim who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

Wow!  huh   Another excerpt: http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=38613

While freedom of religion is important, Islam represents a religion and a political movement rolled into a single belief system. Most worrisome is the fact that it is a belief system in which individual conscience has been abandoned by adherents who have ceded control to others—to their spiritual leaders whose words then dictate the adherents’ actions. This was clearly explained by former Egyptian terrorist-in-training Tawfik Hamid who was warned, after asking questions of his handlers in an exercise of his individual conscience, “If you start to think for yourself, you will become an infidel.”

I have some Muslim friends I have been in touch with for 20 yrs.  They have come over and gone swimming in my yard and when the women come my husband agrees to stay in the house with the blinds shut so the women can take off the head gear and swim openly as they are not to let their head be seen by another man other than their husband.

The old testament laws of stoning that is in our bible and other laws of the old testament are found in their law...they stone today anyone who commits adultery though it takes only the husband's word to bring it forth, not two witnesses as God's law does, if I have this correct.

They will bring their law on us and it is harder than the O.T laws as it is not fair in many ways but, if we walk up right before the Lord and know his ways we have nothing to be fearful of, as our Lord is with us.   This law will come on America very soon, and I am looking at this in my opinion to be this year possible around November when the voting is to come forth and Obama will stop it and bring in the Shari Law and his kingship under the Copenhagen Treaty signed in Dec 21, 09.

These things will come forth it is at our door.  America is looking at all other things not paying attention to what has taken place with Obama.  This is the change that is coming and  it will come this year.

In Christ's love
the father said he was sending the tribulation through the seed of Ishmael  and they are camped around us now.  Trust the Lord in the times of trouble that is near to all of us.   The Lord is coming.

Don't take this the wrong way for I love you sister very much but why do you think it will
be by Nov?  I am just wondering  :confused0006:  I thought it could be a couple of years.
Americia does not even know what is happening it is like everyone is just robots doing
the same everyday.  I have a friend that was a police officer and a couple of years ago
he quite and went into exray and he was at the house the other day and we got talking
about guns and I told him my hubby asked me five months ago if I wanted a gun for protection.
and I told him I wasn't sure.  Well, our friend told us that we can come to his place and
try some of his guns and he feels we should have one. :character0009:
He talked about this pump handgun he said you can't miss with that one.  He said to make
sure we stand for God and not let things happen, next they will be making us take the mark. cz022
