Something that we have to understand with regard to this issue, (and highly ignored), is what we are doing with regard to our children, and their understanding of this issue. I think as a whole, as a society, we have mislead our children into thinking that it is somehow "fashionable/modern" to "embrace" the homosexual lifestyle. And in fact, we have a whole generation of kids who are VERY confused with regard to sexual practices and even gender identity. I wholeheartedly believe that this is due to the Christian viewpoint of "tolerance", and that we have misguided our kids in understanding homosexuality, because we have not been "biblically" honest and frank with them. We have left out the "godly" TRUTH from the Word of God with regard to MANY sexual issues, but this one in particular is vital, because children are the next society to come up. And because our generation lost the biblical truths about this, now our kids are even more confused than we were. I can't tell you how many teens myspace pages, my kids have pointed out to me where the kids are presenting themselves as "bi-sexual" or not conveying a preference upfront but by their appearance they are obviously VERY gender-confused.
I have teens, and they have biblical instruction with regard to homosexuality. They understand and talk about these issues in detail much like we have done here. They are very aware of how this relates to the biblical passages and they also are aware of how to handle this issue. Our kids need to know from parents how to process this issue, because Lord knows it is a strange one. Even the smallest of kids can be very confused by this and we're not saying anything and they are slowly being conditioned to accept this type of lifestyle. We've got to do something different . For them.
