Written by Bessie Brent Winston, this collection of poems, will encourage and uplift you. Covering situations in life, MS Winston has a way of writing that you laugh and and cry with each poem.

One Example of her style:

Clean DIrt:

My little boy came home from school,
And I was shocked to see
His hands, his face, his dainty suit,
As dirty as could be.

He stood there smiling impishly,
With small hands held aloft,
"See Mother dear it's just clean dirt-
The Kind that washes off".

O little girl and little boy,
ANd grown up children too,
If splendid you would be and true and fine,
Noble good and true,

If you would live above earth's sin,
Above it's shame and scoff,
Be sure your hands have just clean dirt -
The kind that washes off.

This book again is fairly old, but it's poems an messages are timeless.........
