For my Dad
« on: June 24, 2010, 03:38:02 am »
My Dad is having surgery Friday morning for a hernia that is real low, he can barely walk from the pain it is causing him. Please pray the Lord's will in this, the surgeons are not too sure of how he will do because of his age and other health problems.

Thank you so much and many blessings'

I too will pray for your Daddy, Cizz.  I have a hernia, too; the other day I sneezed SUDDENLY and the pressure was so great but I didn't have enough time to put my hands over the hernia to press down on it to protect it from the pressure released and the convulsing pressure from the sneeze caused a blood bruise in the middle of my hernia.  I had to ice it twice a day and it finally went away.  So I feel for your Dad.  Praying even now.

Brother,

Thank you so much. My heart goes out to you and I will surely being praying for you too. I did not fully understand what a hernia was and just how painful they are until this happened to dad, his has bulged out into a sac so low and close to the unspeakable parts that I don't know how he can bare to sit much less stand. The surgeons said there is no choice in the matter, if they don't try to repair it has too great a chance of rupturing even with the slightest movement.

Sister,

He has other health problems, the surgeons spent the last three weeks debating rather to do the surgery or not.  The only thing that was holding the hernia was skin and the risk of rupture was just too great to not try and do something. It was a huge bulge way larger than a soft ball right next to the manly unspeakable-s. He has been in terrible pain for over a month now. I'm relieve they moved him into the hospital where someone can be with him 24 hrs for now, I do this kind of work but it is so different when it is father and daughter. Every time I have had to help him with personal stuff like the bathroom it embarrasses him so badly. They did say his blood pressure was elated and his sugar levels had dropped, so they are watching him close.

Will do in my prayer today,   my son in law just had hernia surgery by his groin area  and he is doing okay now but he had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia he almost didn't make it.  Will most certainly pray today for your dad..and your family.
the father said he was sending the tribulation through the seed of Ishmael  and they are camped around us now.  Trust the Lord in the times of trouble that is near to all of us.   The Lord is coming.

Thank you so much sister, my brother just brought him home a few hours ago! I know the nurses are relieved, he is a cranky ole bugger. I truly did not realize how serious a hernia could be. Praise the Lord! your son law come through okay!
