Speak...what you hear in the ear.
« on: September 17, 2010, 07:12:31 pm »
Those that our Saviour abides in/walks in/dwells in, understand that His Spirit guides us in our lives.  He opens our eyes and ears to the spirit of the written Word.  We in turn are to go and "speak with My words unto them."

  • Ezekiel 3:4-6  And He said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with My words unto them.  For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel; Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

This thread is addressed to those He sends for others won't understand.  As you go among them, a sheep among wolves, there will be some doors closed/slammed in your face...we are warned and must not be discouraged.

  • John 16:1  These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

So, the next time your post is scrubbed, you are banned, your topic locked...understand, it shall happen, don't be offended.

  • Matthew 10:1,5-8  And when He had called unto Him his twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.  (5-8)  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

10:11,14  And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.  (11)  And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

10:16-20  Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.   But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

10:23,27,  But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.   (27)  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

10:40-41  He that receiveth you receiveth Me, and he that receiveth Me receiveth Him that sent Me.  He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

The key sentence here, or...the sentence that caused me to write this topic, is...."Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come."  If, as I believe them to be, cities can be symbolic of forums, among other places believers gather, then I am wondering....is the list of new "cities of Israel" about to run out?  As I use His Words, Scripture and "speak what I hear in the ear," as I am to do, in an uncontentious, "harmless as a dove" manner....doors are being closed.  As far as I see...there aren't many cities left to flee to.  Thank goodness for this wonderful city of God!   :inlove:

Thanks for your thoughts on Matthew and Ezekiel...I believe it is factual.  But I also believe the Lord is giving us a time of events when he will come..his appearing to those who are his who are in Jerusalem at the time of the End... Bighug

In Christ's love
the father said he was sending the tribulation through the seed of Ishmael  and they are camped around us now.  Trust the Lord in the times of trouble that is near to all of us.   The Lord is coming.
