The ancient Hebrew concept of a "judge" is one who restores life. The goal of one that rules or judges is to bring a pleasant and righteous life to the people. This can also mean a deliverer as one whom restores life to his people.

, I believe that word has lost its meaning in modern day life...or once again been flipped over! Most "judge" to condemn not to restore!!!

Isn't that the truth! I love looking up the original Hebrew meanings of words in the bible, they always turn out to be very different from what most have been taught!
